Saint Matthew in the Rain

After 22 days in the south, Jared Brady and I met back up in Florence for a day before heading up to Cinque Terre for the last leg of the trip. The forecast said it would rain so we went to the back of Chiesa di Orsanmichele where there is some cover. I actually painted this same statue of St. Matthew 6 years ago when I was very new to plein air and decided it would be fun to give it another go.
