Summer Haze In The Port of Malfetta

One of the great things about the region of Puglia is being able to take a train to the next town for only 2 euro. So we took a 5 minute train from Giovinazzo to explore the town of Malfetta. The town was beautiful and built in the typical Pugliese style with very white stones. However the air was filled with sand from the Sahara desert and the light wasn’t as strong as we would’ve liked for an architectural painting so we headed for the boardwalk and discover this beautiful contra jour light. While the light might not have appeared so strong, it certainly felt quite strong.
